Monina, Hubby has informed me he wants to stay at Polynesian. Given that neither one of us walks well for long distances (ECV), which building is central to TTC, dock & main building without facing the main pool? Where are the best cups of decaf at WDW

    Hello Rochelle,

I'm thrilled to see your husband helping plan your Disney getaway. You two really deserve the time away!

I've never stayed as a guest at the Polynesian Resort but it's on my wish list. The Tokelau longhouse is centrally located on property. This puts you within minutes of the Great Ceremonial House and the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC). According to my friends at AllEars.net, all rooms have a view of the gardens. Just know, rooms on the west side of the longhouse overlook a quiet pool. There are buildings closer to the TTC, but they are further from the Great Ceremonial House.

Remember, when making reservations, Disney cannot guarantee room requests. But they will try to accommodate your request as best as possible. I always try to call a few days before my arrival just to remind them of my needs.

As for coffee options, you are fortunate to be staying at the Polynesian. I love my coffee, and Kona Cafe (which, by the way, has a delicious Tonga Toast for breakfast!) serves great coffee.

Let me know if I can be of any other help.

    Enjoy your trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
