Hey Lisa, welcome back to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear you are planning a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding! As a fellow Disney bride who experienced the process of planning a Disney wedding many years ago, I love hearing about current couples preparing to start their happily ever afters!
There are several offers available for
Summer 2026 Savings for Walt Disney World Disney Weddings. You can save 50% on select ceremony locations, including Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, several EPCOT locations throughout the World Showcase, and Tamu Tamu Courtyard in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Wedding Pavilion holds a special place in my heart, but the theme park locations available are making me consider a vow renewal! The Summer 2026 offers also include 20% off Cinderella’s Coach, and a complimentary 1-night resort room at your host resort for events taking place Monday through Thursday.
Now, once you
reach out to the Disney Weddings team, you’ll need to have some details in mind. You’ll be asked for your desired date, time, ceremony location, estimated guest count, and budget range. Although the ceremony fees at select venues are reduced for Summer 2026, they are still subject to
event minimum expenditures. Things like food and beverage offerings, entertainment, transportation, floral and décor, and photography and videography will apply towards your event minimums if provided by Disney. In my experience, the Disney Wedding Team will do their best to help you stay within your budget range.
We opted to have our Disney’s Wedding Pavilion ceremony at 9 am with our reception immediately following, so we qualified for the brunch pricing. We also selected the hosted bar, which meant we paid for our Guests to enjoy beverages, but the cost was tabulated by the drink rather than paying a flat fee per Guest or a cash bar. This option worked well for us because we had a smaller Guest count with several Guests who did not drink alcohol. The amount of floral and décor you choose will also increase your overall cost. You can also use outside vendors for certain details, but you’ll still need to meet the minimum event expenditure.
Ultimately, my suggestion is to work with your wedding planner and monitor the overall cost of the wedding as you plan it. The wedding team is like a Fairy Godparent; there are a lot of magical details that can be added to your event, and they can offer suggestions on what to keep or reduce; however, you’re ultimately responsible for making that final payment.
I hope this helps, Lisa. Several planDisney panelists have experience with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, and we’d love to help you along the way. Please come back and see us again at

Wishing you a happily ever after,
Kaitlin
