Can I take the money I paid for tickets I can not use and apply that money to a family members annual pass?

    Hiya Patricia!

Thank you for sending us this magical question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Wow, Patricia, what a special gift you will be giving your family member. I always think that Disney theme park tickets make the most magical gift, and yours will be even more special since it will be a year-long supply of pixie dust!

First, I would like to confirm that, yes, you may pay for the renewal of your family member as a gift by calling (407) 560-7277. However, applying the cost of your expired theme park tickets may be a bit more complicated as these tickets cannot be transferred or would have to be activated before doing so. Therefore, after chatting with a Cast Member, I was advised that you should call the Annual Passholder line or get in touch with Guest Services, as they may be able to help further. Furthermore, it was also recommended to see a Cast Member in person with your family member or call the Annual Passholder line together.

Now, Patricia, there are so many other ways to gift Disney magic to your friends and family! One of many examples is the brand new MagicBand+, which recently hit the shelves this summer. The MagicBand+ not only performs the same features as other MagicBands that we know and love, but they also give you brand new ways to enjoy the magic! Star Wars fans will love engaging in the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters experience, a big scavenger hunt throughout Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Also, you will be able to collect the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations! For an extra dose of magic, end the day with one of the current nighttime spectaculars: Disney Enchantment or Harmonious.

I hope this was helpful, Patricia, and that you and your Ohana will be able to enjoy the Disney magic together real soon! If you have any other questions or need help planning your next vacation, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Lilo said, "Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten," and you are part of our planDisney family now too!

    Have a magical day,
