How much money on average do you need for a family of 4 (2adult 2 boys 9 & 5) for food? The quick meal plan that we selected just seems too expensive. My 5 yr old eats very little and we are spending some time out of the Disney park/resort.

    Hi Pamela,

I can almost guarantee that with two children under the age of ten, purchasing the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan will save you money over paying out-of-pocket for meals.  I've tried it both ways and I always save money when I use dining plan credits. There's simply no less expensive way to feed a family with young children while vacationing at Walt Disney World unless you bring your own groceries and take your own food into the parks.  That is possible, you know!

I suggest you look at the prices for quick service meals at the independent website, allears.net, and then compare them to what you would pay for the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan.  I think you'll find it cheaper to work with the dining plan credits.

Let us know if you need any additional information as you plan for your trip.  We'd be delighted to assist you!
