Hi Jonas,
I know what you mean. I love my home resort of Disney's BoardWalk Villas, but sometimes I just want to try somewhere different!
You can be waitlisted for two Disney Vacation Club accommodations at the same time, so you could add an additional waitlist request to the one that you already have. However, you should know that a view is considered a waitlist space. For example, if you are currently waitlisted for a Bay Lake View at Bay Lake Tower, you could also add a waitlist request for a Magic Kingdom View at Bay Lake Tower, but that would then count as two waitlist requests. Or, you could keep that Bay Lake View waitlist request at Bay Lake Tower and add Beach Club Villas as your second waitlist request.
Once you have your waitlist requests set up, Disney Vacation Club will monitor them and will automatically move your reservation if one of them becomes open. You would be moved to whichever waitlist request became available first. You would be notified of the change by e-mail.
You can add a waitlist request from the
Disney Vacation Club Member website. To do this, you login, click on the reservation that you would like to add the waitlist to, and then follow the link on the left-hand side for "waitlist." This process can be cumbersome, so I suggest that you call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 and speak with a cast member who can help you to add your waitlist request to your reservation.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jonas! I'm sure that you'll have a great vacation, wherever you stay. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
