Hi Mona! It's about time to make our dining reservations but I have a question. If I book our meals for 5 people and 1 ends up not getting to go, can I just call & reduce it to 4 people, or will I have to cancel reservations and start all over?

    Hi Kathy,

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Disney planning question! I am glad to help you continue to plan your magical vacation.

How exciting to be at the point where you can start to make your Disney dining reservations! You can either do this online, or by calling Walt Disney World dining at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Once you have made your dining reservations, you should then be sure that they are linked to your My Disney Experience account.

Once you have made these reservations, you can modify them, no worries. You can do this through your My Disney Experience account by choosing the reservation that you want to change and selecting "Change Reservation." Then you can enter the new number of guests you will have and the system will search to be sure that the new party size can be accommodated at that time. You can also do this quite easily using the My Disney Experience mobile app. You also could call Disney dining at the number above for help in modifying your dining reservation.

Have a great time planning those dining reservations, Kathy! We are here and happy to help if you have any further questions.
