Hi Mona, Thank you so much for your answer regarding planning our 2014 trip! One thing-we were hoping to just relax at the pool the day of Mickey's party. W/ that being said, would you skip Universal Studios or Epcot? We have 2 little girls--will be 3 &am

    Hi Kristina,

Thanks for coming back with your follow up question!  I do like your plan of relaxing by the pool of the day of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Since your children are little, it is probably a good idea to save your energy for the party.

I have to tell you, I cannot imagine a trip to Walt Disney World without visiting Epcot.  It is a must do for us.  Our daughter has enjoyed Epcot with us since she was a baby.  Let me tell you some of the things that we really enjoyed with her at Epcot when she was little.

In Future World, small children are often enthralled with The Seas with Nemo & Friends, where they can ride through scenes from the famous movie and through a real aquarium.  When the ride ends, you can explore the aquarium, seeing many types of fish as well as other sea creatures such as manatees.  Little ones also enjoy Turtle Talk with Crush in this area, where an animated Crush interacts in real time with "little dudes!"  Also check out Journey into Imagination with Figment, a fun ride focusing on imagination.  Our daughter also always enjoyed a gentle boat ride on Living with the Land, and she has always loved a ride on Spaceship Earth.

When you head back to World Showcase, there are some attractions for children to take part in, such as the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, a boat ride in the Mexico pavilion.  Our favorite activity in World Showcase is to wander from pavilion to pavilion and let our daughter color a Duffy Bear or Perry the Platypus at the Kidcot Fun Stop located in each country.  On our way, my husband and I often stop to get a snack or beverage to enjoy while she colors, and we just sit back and take in the ambiance of World Showcase.

I am really enjoying helping you to consider how to structure your vacation, Kristina!  Please do feel free to come back with any further questions that you may have.
