I have a 10yo & 10mon, I'm trying to plan around school. We have SB last week of March or summer last week of May-August. Suggestions on when to come & where to stay? And weather? I just can't decide which is better for the kids.

    Hi Rachel!

It's always a hard decision when trying not to impact school!  There's no doubt that the weather will be much better during Spring Break, but the crowds will be huge.  Walt Disney World is historically extremely crowded during Spring Break.  I really don't recommend going then unless you've been to Walt Disney World many times before and know how to manage the crowds and are not expecting to do "everything".

If you are more of a first timer, then you should definitely go during the summer.  However, the summers are hot and humid in Florida and the parks are also crowded in the summer; basically the parks are crowded whenever children are not in school.  Since a lot of schools don't end in the United States until sometime in June, if you can go in May that will be your best bet.  It won't be too hot or humid yet, hopefully, and the crowds will definitely be less.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
