Hi there, Alyssa!
I think I’ve seen what you are experiencing too. When my family and I were making reservations for a recent visit to the Disneyland Resort, we noticed differences in the availability of
theme park reservations for each of our
Magic Key passes. At first, I thought it was because we have both Dream Key passes and Enchant Key passes in our family. But then I noticed that even Magic Key passes of the same type sometimes showed different dates available to reserve.
Now, I’m not 100% sure that
Experiment 626 (A.K.A. Stitch) doesn’t occasionally cause a little havoc once in a while. But I suspect that when we see different theme park reservation availability when booking for different Magic Key passes, it is because that availability sometimes happens to vary dramatically. During times when other Magic Key holders are actively booking and canceling their own reservations, we may see that volatility. That just goes to show how dynamic and awesome the
Magic Key holder community is!
Tony’s Tip: Because the number of theme park reservations is limited, it is possible to see some dates without availability. I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Magic Key Access Calendar. When a date you wish to visit shows up as available on the calendar, it’s time to quickly jump into action. Check the calendar frequently. But most often, I find that availability for a given date is easiest to find on the evening before that date. That’s when other Magic Key holders are most likely to cancel a reservation at the last minute.
I hope you and your mom have a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth, Alyssa!
