Hi Moms, What time should we make reservations for Ohana if we want to get to Pirates and Pals the same night? Arriving 9/21 of this year. Also, celebrating grammy's bday--best restaurants to celebrate an adult birthday? Addicted to this panel!

    Hi, Hilary!

You will love Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage! My extended family and I (three generations-worth) had a blast on our last voyage; each family member grinned from ear to ear the entire night. With Patch the Pirate nearby, you will, too!

We like to linger over dinner and like to arrive at our destination a bit early, too. As such, I'd make a reservation for 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort for 4:30. This will allow you at least an hour or more for dinner, as well as giving you a little wiggle room if your party cannot be seated exactly on time. With the time you'll have left after dinner, you'll be able to use the bathroom, freshen up and head over to the check-in area for your Voyage. What a great night you have planned!

For Grammy's birthday, there are countless restaurants which cater to adults (although children are welcome, too.) Some of our favorites include The Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Via Napoli in Epcot's Italy Pavilion, Yachtman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Flying Fish Cafe on Disney's BoardWalk, Teppan Edo at Epcot's Japan Pavilion, Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot's Future World and Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe at Downtown Disney. Yum.

Send more questions as you think of them, Hilary, including what Grammy's favorite foods include. We can add tips for ordering her a cake among other special surprises, too. What fun!
