Hello, Debbie! Yay! I am so excited that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort this fall and staying at my favorite hotel! I love everything about the Disneyland Hotel and I know you, too, will adore the beautiful decor, phenomenal dining options, and the absolutely incredible pools.
Mickey's Halloween Party is simply a must-do if you are visiting in October. It will take place on select nights and, as you mention, requires a separate ticket. In the past, there wasn't an option to add these tickets to vacation packages, so I would assume that will also be the case this year. Your best bet is to follow the
Disney Parks Blog as they will announce the details about
Halloween Time in late summer. They will also publish the dates that you can start buying Mickey's Halloween Party tickets. Once these tickets go on sale, I suggest purchasing yours as soon as you are able as they tend to sell out fast.
Another thing to research are the
costume guidelines for the Halloween party. There are rules about capes, masks, and other accessories that you might want read through before your grandsons pick their costumes. Also, no need to bring your own trick-or-treat bags or buckets as you will be given one to use for the party.
I would love to keep helping you plan your vacation, so please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions you may have!
