Hi Moms, We will be at WDW from 12/28-01/03 for our second magical visit. We were wondering if there are any special events on New Year's Day that we should plan to attend.

    Hi there, Erin!

While New Year's Eve is an incredibly festive night of fun at the Walt Disney World Resort, things seem to fall into their regular magical rhythm on the first day of the new year.

Certain restaurants around the Resort may offer special menus for the day, but that information will typically be released a little closer to the date. You might want to subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog for the latest and breaking news for holiday time.

Do be aware that the crowd levels are still fairly high on New Year's Day. You might want to consider using that as a day to relax, enjoy the heated pool at your Resort, and spend time enjoying your travel party.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
