Hi Moms, We are staying at Saratoga in May 21-26. We just want to relax, so no parks for this trip. What would you suggest to do with a 2 year old? Also, which room would be the best request to make and how is the weather like? Thank you

    Hi Carlos,

Relaxing and enjoying your resort and activities outside of the theme parks sounds like a lovely vacation.  Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a wonderful place for your home base to do this. I first encourage you to check out all the activities that there are to do at the resort. You should receive a recreation guide when you check in with activities occurring around the resort, including movies under the stars, campfires, and special activities at the pool areas. My family and I also love visiting the Community Halls at Disney Vacation Club resorts. Community Hall at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is large and has a wealth of activities including games and crafts. Also, be sure to take a relaxing boat ride from your resort to Disney Springs. This recently re-imagined shopping, dining and entertainment area includes many great restaurants and there is much fun to be had there.

In May the average high temperature is about 88 degrees Fahrenheit, so you should find it warm but not too hot. It should be perfect pool weather! Regarding where to request a room, that will depend largely on what your traveling party prefers. Some guests prefer to be close to a pool, where some guests find that this is too much activity near their room. I tend to like a higher floor for a broader view. Some guests also choose to request to be close to a bus stop. Regardless of what you request, please do note that Disney will do their best to honor requests; however, they cannot be guaranteed.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Carlos!
