Hey Barbara-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be our guest! Be our guest! Put our service to the test. The
Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland is tres bien. This past October we stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and had 8:05 a.m. dining reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant. The meal was worth every bite. Our table of four took Lumiere’s advice and split the Croissant Doughnut. Yes, a fried doughnut covered in a banana-caramel sauce; tastebuds meet perfection.
During our morning the Resort Monorail Service was not running and neither were the water taxis to Magic Kingdom Park. A complimentary
Walt Disney World Bus took us to Magic Kingdom Park. We were late to our reservation by 25 minutes. The Cast Members were understanding as they know the monorail is under renovation and Guests may be late to reservations. They sat us immediately and we had no issues. Please speak with the front desk the night before your reservation to find out what transportation will be available in the morning as well as what time to arrive for it.
Disney Dad Tip: Reservations before official theme park opening time are the best. Once inside, the light crowds provide a perfect opportunity for special photos of Cinderella Castle, buildings on Main Street, U.S.A. and attractions in Fantasyland. Recently, early dining Guests who have finished their meals have been able to jump aboard the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before the theme park opens and sing “Heigh Ho!" with Doc and the gang. Talk about magical.
Bon appetit!
Barbara, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
