    Hi Moms! We are staying at BLT and would like to take the monorail to the GF for an evening out, but it probably won't still be running for the late-night return trip. What are our transportation options back to BLT? Thanks!

    Hi Kristin,

    If the monorail is closed, I would suggest that you take a taxi. The total journey would take approximately 10 minutes.

    The only way that you could make the journey using Disney's complimentary transportation would be to catch a bus from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Downtown Disney and then from there, transfer to a different bus to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This journey could take around 90 minutes in total taking into consideration actual travel time and the time which may be spent waiting for the next bus to arrive.
