    Hi Moms, We are going to be at our home resort, BLT, in August. We may have friends who live in the area visit us for a day. Would they be able to come to the pool with us and if so, would I get them registered as day guests? Thank you!

    Hi Kerry, and thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are certainly getting closer and closer to your upcoming August vacation!

    Kerry, I contacted Member Services on your behalf, and unfortunately Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort still does not permit day guests to utilize pool facilities. Instead, pool facilities at the Resort are reserved exclusively for registered guests of Bay Lake Tower.

    As an alternative, you may wish to invite your day guests to join you for an afternoon of boating. The Boat Nook Marina at the Resort offers hourly rentals of a number of watercraft vehicles, including Sea Raycers (my favorite), Boston Whalers, or Pontoon Boats. Cruising Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon in your own watercraft is so much fun. And don't forget that as a Disney Vacation Club member, you are currently entitled to a 15% discount on boat rentals from Disney Marinas.
