Hi Mom's!We have a friend who's joining us.She has a separate reservation w/different meal plan than us. We have deluxe b/c we love character/Signature dining. Will she able to sit with us at out table at a sit down restaurant if she's not eating w/us?

    Hi Linda,

For buffet and character meals, she will need to pay in order to join you. Those restaurants are per person, regardless of how much or how little you eat. However, she can join you for many of your Table Service meals that have a regular menu to order off of. My brother joined us for several meals in Epcot and only purchased an appetizer or glass of wine while we used our Disney Dining Plan. You'll just need to inform your server that she is not on the plan. Be sure to add her to your reservation so that they are holding the correct table size for you.

Hope this helps. We purchase the Disney Dining Plan on nearly every trip and often have people join us who are not on the plan so if you need more specific information, feel free to send me a follow up question.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
