Hi Moms, We are dining at the Kona Cafe during our upcoming trip in April. How much time should we allow to travel from MK to the Polynesian and what is the best mode of transportation? Thank you for all your help

    Hi Amy:

I love Kona Cafe.  It's got wonderful food, usually featuring seasonal specials, in an understated environment.  A wonderful restaurant to regroup and talk to your traveling party.

I would take the monorail outside of Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian.  I would budget up to a 10 minute wait for the monorail, though it's likely to arrive sooner.  I would also budget 10-15 minutes for the ride to the Polynesian.  So I would budget up to 30 minutes if you are an early bird, but the trip will likely take closer to 20.  You could also boat between Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian, but the monorail will likely be quicker.

    Enjoy your vacation.
