Hi Moms, This has been a great resource so far in my early planning stages. I am considering a D Fantasy cruise; I would love to know the hidden costs. Like alcoholic drinks and souvenirs etc. Whats a avg additional percent or $$ you budget? Thnx!

    Hi Misti!

I can happily tell you that almost everything is included in the price of your Disney cruise! Your meals, non-alcoholic beverages, entertainment, and events. If you are on a cruise that sails to Disney's beautiful, private island, Castaway Cay, that's included too!

Really, the only extras that you would have to pay for are alcoholic beverages, specialty coffees, port adventures, spa treatments, photos at Shutters, and gratuities. If there is a child under the age of three in your party, you will also have an extra charge if you decide to drop the child off at the nursery. The rest of the youth clubs are also included in the cost of the cruise. The adults only restaurants, Palo and Remy are extraordinary. There is an extra charge for dining at these restaurants, but it's definitely worth it. Trust me on that one!   I have to say that giving you an average amount of additional expenses is difficult.  It really depends on how you've tailored your vacation to your family.  I have been able to enjoy some cruises on a low budget (no port adventures), and a larger budget when we do take part in the port adventures or spa treatments.  My family is a family of four.  We can get by with an extra $500 if we're watchful of our spending.

I hope this helps in your planning stages. If you have any other questions please let me know. I hope you get to sail on a Disney cruise soon. You will love it!
