Hi Moms! The first time in years I will not be staying on property and I feel like a fish out of water lol. So for dining reservations can I still make them 180 days out for my entire stay? Or do I do one day at a time? Do I use my Disney experience..help

    Welcome BACK, Lisa!

How exciting that you're planing a trip back Home to Walt Disney World Resort! Have you seen that your vacation falls within the dates of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival? Definitely 'Like' and 'Follow' the Disney Parks Blog as they'll soon start to cover all of the can't-miss festival moments!

Disney Dining Reservations open for booking 180 in advance of every day. One of the many benefits to staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is that guests can reserve their meals for up to 10 consecutive vacation days once their check-in day is 180 days away. Unfortunately, this does mean that for your upcoming vacation you will only be able to book day 1 once it's 180 days out, then you can book day 2 the next day, and so on. These bookings can be made through both the My Disney Experience App or by calling the Disney World Dining Reservation Line at (407) 939-1947.

If it makes you feel hopeful, three of my best mom-friends and I visited Walt Disney World Resort in May, a trip for which we only started reserving our dining reservations in February. While we had to settle for some later breakfast times, we were able to dine at some pretty popular locations including 'Ohana, The Crystal Palace, Boma, and Chef Mickey's. I also visited in March and discovered that sometimes when a park closes early, around 8:00 P.M., you can find late dining reservations after the park has technically closed, like at 8:15 and 8:30 P.M. I really enjoyed these later reservations as our dinner didn't eat into our park time, and we got to skip the crowd for resort transportation home. Win-Win!

I hope this helped, Lisa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
