Hi Moms, Party of 7/4A/3K including two 2 year olds. What is the best resort/most convenient for afternoon trips back to the resort for naps? Which ones have shortest bus rides and easy walks back to the hotel for tired toddlers?

    Hi Hilary,

My little boys are 2 years old and 4 years old and we have been bringing them to Walt Disney World Resort since they were just tiny Mouseketeers! When traveling with them, I always need to be prepared to take things at a slower pace, plan more rest and relaxation time at our hotel and expect a little bit of the unexpected since my little ones don't always want to hold to my schedule. I think the easiest and most convenient hotels when vacationing with my little ones are the Walt Disney World Resort hotels on the Resort Monorail. You can take a monorail or boat right to Magic Kingdom, which has so many amazing options for little kids and is the theme park where we tend to spend the majority of our time with our little ones. You can also use the monorail to get to Epcot. You will need to take a bus to get to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort are all wonderful options where you will be able to quickly and easily have access to your hotel for a nap or some play time in there fantastic pools. And if you stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can even make a short walk to Magic Kingdom!

For a budget-friendly option, I recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a quiet, peaceful resort that will really make you feel relaxed after a long day in the park and Disney's Art of Animation Resort is such a fun atmosphere for your little ones with so many things to do in the resort area! We have found the transportation to these resorts to be very reasonable, but nothing beats the easy access of the monorail resorts.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
