Hi MomsPanel! What is the fastest way to get from the resort to the park and vice versa? We will have our car with us so have the option of driving ourselves. We will have our 1yo w us and he want to go back to the room for an afternoon nap. Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for writing!  I am generally a big fan of Disney transportation, and thoroughly enjoy leaving the driving to Disney.  In many cases, Disney transportation is not only convenient, but quicker than driving.  If you are staying on the monorail line, and plan to visit Epcot or the Magic Kingdom, I would recommend using the monorail rather than driving.  Similarly, at the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness, I'd hop on the boat to the Magic Kingdom, as it's likely faster than driving.  If you are at the Epcot Resort Area at either the Beach Club, Yacht Club or BoardWalk, I would recommend walking to Epcot or hoping on the boat versus driving and taking the boat to Hollywood Studios.  If you are at one of the other Disney properties, where only bus transportation is available you may find it to be a little quicker to drive to the parks (you won't have to pay for parking if you are staying on property.)  If you are in a crunch to get a sleepy tot to bed, this may be your best option.

    Have a magical trip!
