Hi Moms! My husband, myself, and our 11 year old daughter will be going to WDW in Oct 2016. We will most definitely attending MNSSHP but heard that adults are no longer able to dress up? Thanks for your help!

Hi Marie! When you come to Walt Disney World in the fall one of the "must do" things is to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The Halloween parade is definitely my favorite of all Disney parades.

We were all sad to hear about the change in costume rules last year. We understand that safety must come first but it was going to change a lot of long going traditions with families all dressing up in a group to attend the party. The good news is that Disney listened to their guests and have come up with new guidelines for costumes for the entire family. It keeps safety at the forefront while allowing everyone to have some fun at the party. Please check out the Costume Guidelines for Mickey's Not So Scary Party for the 2016 season. Then start planning what your family will be wearing to spend the evening trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom.
