Hi moms! My friend and I will be visiting WDW in November, and are looking into Pirates and Pals. It seems to be geared mostly towards young children though, is that right?

    Hi Lucinda,

In my opinion, the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is a lot of fun for Guests of all ages.

My family have experienced this event during previous visits to the Walt Disney World Resort and I have to say that we all really enjoyed it (me, my husband, my then 8-year old son and my dad).

Yes, there are certain parts of the event which are geared towards children, but there is certainly no reason why 2 adults wouldn't enjoy the event or would feel out of place at all.

An alternative (and possibly more adult) choice would be a Fireworks Cruise. With these cruises, you have the option to experience the fireworks within Epcot when your pontoon boat sails up International Gateway near World Showcase Lagoon whilst Magic Kingdom cruises have synchronized audio on board to immerse you in the magic of the night.

I do hope that this information has been of help Lucinda and wish you and your friend a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
