Hi Moms!! My family will be in WDW the 1st week of December 2010. We have 5:45pm Crystal Palace ADRs one night we are in MK. I think the castle lighting ceremony occurs about that time. Will we be able to see this from the restaurant? Thanks!

Hi Kristin! Indeed the castle lighting takes place each night during the holiday season right about 5:45pm.  Depending on your table location you might be able to see some of the show right from there but be aware that many guests are waiting on the porches of the restaurant and will block some views unintentionally.  Many times the reservation time is when you need to check in by and you are not actually ready to be seated. If this is the case you can watch from the grounds in front of the Crystal Palace to see the beautiful sight.  In fact my recommendation would be to not check in much before 5:40pm to assure that you are not seated inside when the lights go on!
