hi moms,me my husband and 2 daughers ages 5,6 coming for first time on july 14-21 staying at aml...so excited.we have a zero entry pool dose that mean it is shallow and gets deep as u walk?what resort activites do you recomend.you guys are great

Hi Angela! Oh you will love the great Animal Kingdom Lodge!  the atmosphere and decor will make you feel like you have trekked back to a different continent! Seeing and hearing the animals during the day and night is surreal!

The zero entry pool is one that has an area where you walk in and the water gradually deepens. It is great for the younger kids who want to play in the water but not yet good swimmers to feel comfortable in jumping right in.

Be sure and ask for the special activities going on at your resort when you check in. They most likely will have that in your packet but ask to be sure. There are usually naturalists and cast members who are native to African countries who will be more then happy to talk to you about the area and the animals native to them. You will be given a list of all the cultural and animal programs they will offer.  If it is a nice evening head outside the main lobby and enjoy the large firepit for storytime. Ask about the Wanyama Safari and the Culinary programs they might be offering. Last but not least you will always find something fun going on at the pools!

You can certainly spend a day or two just enjoying this great resort so be sure and book an afternoon or so where you can do just that!
