My Mom,sister and I will be @WDW for the Princess marathon week-end in2011, this will be our 1st grown-up only trip, is there any thing new we should try, will need to fit it in around the 5k and the 1/2 marathon we are doing both! :)

    Hi there Jessica,

Some of the Disney moms (Diane C., Jodi, Whitney, Jen and myself) ran the Princess Half Marathon this past year, and had an amazing "girls" weekend celebrating our accomplishment.  The race and expo were both amazing.  If your legs can handle a park after running, I love strolling through the World Showcase at Epcot without kids in tow, enjoying the entertainment, sights and dining.  Not having to interject a thrill ride or potty break every twenty minutes is fantastic!  Disney also has several amazing spas, and I'm guessing a massage or other treatment would be a welcome treat after running 13.1 miles.  There are a number of Spas on Disney property, some full service, others smaller. You can learn about them all on the Disney Website page for Spas.  If you click on the link I provided, you'll see a coupon for $50 a treatment.  Finally, Downtown Disney and Disney's BoardWalk are both wonderful spots to enjoy an adult evening of shopping and dining.

Congratulations on your (soon-to-be) accomplishment, and have a magical trip!
