Hi Moms! I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to celebrate a graduation? I will graduating from university in December and want to celebrate with my family with a fun day at MK. Anything to make it extra special? Thank you :)

    Shaina:

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. Your celebration is well-deserved!

Our family typically celebrates special occasions with meals. Two nearby indulgences right outside of the Magic Kingdom would be a sunset dinner at California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort for views of Disney World that you'll never forget or a tasty menu of surf and turf at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort. To top off the evening, consider not returning to the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks but viewing them from the veranda of Narcoossee's or the platform outside California Grill. If you want the royal treatment, reserve your own private pontoon boat from either of the resorts' marinas for an after-dinner treat. Specialty cruises allow you to tour the resorts on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoy an upclose view of the Electric Water Pageant and the beautiful fireworks of the Magic Kingdom--without the crowds.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
