Hello edwin,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking such an excellent question.
I spent a day at Walt Disney World Resort alone once and, I’ve got to say, it was a totally different experience from my normal trips. I spent my day poking through every single store and art display in World Showcase at
Epcot. Some of my favourites were the
Stave Church Gallery in Norway and the
Gallery of Arts and History in Morocco. It was absolutely blissful to be able to look at everything at my own pace, without having to worry about other people being bored or annoyed with how much I was dawdling!
Another thing that I would recommend would be to explore the various Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. There are some amazing hidden gems in all of them! My favourite Resort is definitely
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and I would recommend spending some time exploring that beautiful Resort as well! Tip: most Resorts have a lounge where you can sip on a beverage and have a snack, often inspired by the Resort’s other dining experiences. Better yet, most of these lounges don’t take reservations and accept Guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Finally, one thing that I love to do when travelling alone is offer my fellow Guests the chance to get everyone in the picture and take family pictures for them. It’s a great way to meet your fellow Guests from all around the world, and to help everyone make some magical memories.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
