Hi Sara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'd be happy to help with your questions.
It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is almost here! You have chosen a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is gorgeous, and the parks are blossoming with spring! Since you will be staying at
Disney's Beach Club Resort, you will have easy access to the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. I love strolling through World Showcase during this time, admiring incredible topiaries and sampling some seasonal, tasty treats.
Speaking of tasty treats, I'm excited that you plan on taking advantage of the Club Level offerings at your resort. Fortunately, Walt Disney World makes traveling with an allergy as worry free as possible. I have family members with dietary restrictions, and we have always found Cast Members to be attentive to our needs. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with just some of the ways
Walt Disney World accommodates special dietary requests throughout the parks and resorts. Sara, after speaking with a Cast Member at Disney's Beach Club Resort, his best advice for your family is to locate a Club Level Cast Member upon arrival at the Stone Harbor Club Lounge for an overview of the day's offerings. Many times a chef is available to speak with guests who have specific concerns. Because both peanuts and tree nuts are on Disney's list of common allergens, Cast Members should be able to easily identify foods that may contain these ingredients.
Now let's talk about finding you a quiet room at your resort. Disney's Beach Club Resort is my favorite place to stay in all of Walt Disney World. I even keep a candle in my home with a scent that reminds me of the resort lobby. If you are looking for the most tranquil location, I would say you should try and avoid rooms that face
Stormalong Bay, as the poolside music and activities can be noisy, and rooms on the first floor. Since you have booked a room with a standard view, my suggestion would be to request a high floor, as rooms facing the pool are a different booking category. Because of the resort's close proximity to Epcot, you may hear some noise from the nearby nighttime spectacular,
Epcot Forever, if you happen to be in your room during the show. If this will be a problem, then I also suggest requesting a room as far from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot as possible. Keep in mind that requests are never guaranteed. I have never experienced a particularly noisy stay at this resort, so I imagine you will enjoy some peace and quiet here as well.
I am so excited for your Walt Disney World adventures, Sara! Be sure to take the Friendship Boats over to Disney's Hollywood Studios during your trip -
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (debuting March 4) will be up and running for you to experience. It looks like so much fun, and I can't wait to ride it!
See ya real soon!
