Hi Moms, I am treating my family to the Club Level at the GF and also celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary this May with our two teenage daughters. Can you tell me the difference between SugarLoaf and Royal Palm Conceirge Club Level?

Hi Margaret!  The Club Level experience at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is fabulous.  Having stayed at both, I'd be happy  to help you decide between the two.

Club Level in the Sugar Loaf Building means that your guest room will be located in an Outer Lodge Building, as opposed to the Main Building.  Unlike other Outer Lodge buildings, Sugar Loaf has it's own Concierge Staff right inside the building.  In general, the Club Level experience here feels more casual. The lounge area is just inside the doors of the building, and some say it feels more makeshift.  That can be a good thing for people who just want to quickly grab a snack and have immediate access to the grounds of the resort,  just outside the door.  I love the location as it's conveniently located close to the courtyard pool,  Gasparilla's (quick service), the marina, and Boat Launch to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Polynesian Resort.

At the Royal Palm Club in the Main Building, the third through fifth floor rooms are all Club Level.  Cast Members are located at desks on the third floor to help assist you with any needs.  The big difference in Royal Palm, is that the lounge area feels more dedicated, spacious and relaxed.  In the lounge, you can look down into the Grand Lobby of the resort.  At night, you can hear the live orchestra play while you relax, drink in hand.  You can also book rooms with a Magic Kingdom view.

Both Club levels have private keyed access to Club Level areas.  Additionally, the same food offerings and services are available to you.

Best wishes for your Anniversary celebration!

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
