Hi Moms, I have a short 3 y/o we're visiting my sister from SF (she's about 37") and she takes naps in the afternoon (2pm-4/5pm) is it worth going to Disneyland while there? Or should I wait until a little older, since I have to pay a ticket for bo

    Hello Rebecca!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’ve always thought a trip to the Disneyland Resort is fun for all ages! My youngest was three for our first trip, as well as being autistic, so I was worried he wouldn’t be able to do much in the way of attractions. I was pleasantly surprised! Here are a few of our favorite all ages and preschool attractions I think your daughter would enjoy.

First, at Disneyland Park, seeing Sleeping Beauty’s Castle as you walk down Main Street is not only breathtaking for adults, but even more magical for kids! This iconic castle leads you right into Fantasyland where you can ride the infamous Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Mad Tea Party. After that, head over to Mickey’s Toontown where you can meet Mickey and Minnie, go on Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin and play in Goofy’s playhouse!

If you will be visiting Disney’s California Adventure Park The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure is definitely a family favorite, even for my older boys. It’s a calm, slow ride with music and scenes from the movie. You can also go on Toy Story Midway Mania and see Buzz and Woody and the gang while playing a fun game. It’s Tough to be a Bug! is another great area for younger ones with a splash pad, Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train and more.

There is so much for younger kids to see and do at Disneyland! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your trip!

    See you real soon!
