Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashanti! I’m glad you’re hEAR! I’m taking my toddler and gradeschooler to the Parks this year a few times, and with previous, repeated visits during various seasons, I think I can help you pinpoint a time with lower crowds, though Disney seems to be popular all year long, now!
Whenever I plan a Disney vacation, I’m always checking the “Undercover Tourist crowd calendar.” This google-able item will pull up a monthly calendar which you can check for your desired vacation dates, and will show you estimated crowd levels on a scale of 1-10. It will even tell you parks that you may want to avoid on any given day due to expected crowded events, etc. I find that my favorite time of year to visit is in late April and early May, when Spring break has finished but summer vacation has not yet begun. This two-week sweet spot is a great time to bring your little kids to the parks with not-so-hot weather and plenty of Spring fun. March does have a busy period in the latter portion of the month because Spring Break-ers and school bands begin visiting, but I would check the calendar and let it help you decide when to visit! Your target of early
March should be just fine!
If I can help you out with other plans for toddlers and
preschoolers, please let me know. I’ve got lots of info on the
Baby Care Centers, first visit activities and seasonal magic! I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
