Hi Moms-- I am making dining reservations for my trip to WDW in June. Is it now required that credit card numbers be given at the time of reservation for ALL table service reservations? It used to be for only certain places, like Le Cellier.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Beginning Oct. 31, 2013, all table service restaurants at the Walt Disney World resort began requiring a credit card guarantee for advanced dining reservations.

Your card will not be charged unless you don't show up for your reservation or if you fail to cancel your reservation the day before. Generally, the no-show penalty is $10 per person.

The new policy is designed to prevent double-booking and to better manage seating.

I hope that helps, Paul. So far, I have not found the new policy to be cumbersome at all.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you plan your vacation. Enjoy!
