Hi Sophie,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How exciting to be planning your first trip to Walt Disney World with your baby! I remember visiting Walt Disney World with my daughter when she was an infant. It is truly a magical experience to share this special place with your own child for the first time. Let me offer you a few tips.
First, staying at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be a great place for your first trip with your little one. In a one-bedroom or larger villa, you can take advantage of a washer and dryer right in your room. If you are staying in a deluxe studio, you can access the laundry rooms at the resort. Little ones can make a lot of laundry, so this is a nice amenity. Also, you should find a Pack 'n Play-type crib in your deluxe studio or villa when you arrive. If not, you can request one by calling housekeeping. These are a great place for little ones to sleep.
Along the lines of sleeping, I always found it best to try to keep my daughter on as regular a schedule as possible when we were on vacation. This kept her much less cranky, and therefore let the rest of our family enjoy our vacation! This often meant going back to the resort in the middle of the day for a nap. By staying at a Walt Disney World resort, this will be easy for you.
Finally, do take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. These are located in each Disney theme park, and provide a calm, cool place to feed or change baby, or just to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the theme park if you need to with your baby.
I would love to help you plan more Sophie; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
