Hi Moms, I just downloaded the Disney app for my iphone. I noticed that some of the ride's wait times are just a star. What does the star mean? Love the site. (^_^)

    Hi Tomoe,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for the kind words!  We love helping!

I just got back yesterday from Walt Disney World and I used the My Disney Experience mobile app constantly.  It's super handy to have everything in one spot, from dining reservations to FastPass+ selections to attraction wait times.  I actually noticed the very same thing - there are some attractions for which there is just a star shown, but no wait time.  I haven't seen an official explanation about this, but based on my experience there seem to be a few reasons it happens.  It could be that it's an attraction that doesn't have a traditional queue or wait time (like Cinderella Castle or Frontierland Shootin' Arcade), it's a show that runs throughout the day and can seat lots of people at once (like Hall of Presidents or Country Bear Jamboree) or there isn't any current information available on that attraction's wait time.  These "star only" attractions seem to be more of the exception than the rule, though, and overall I've found the mobile app to be quite reliable.

I hope that helps, Tomoe, but please write back if we can help answer any other questions for you.

    Have a magical day!
