Hi moms, Have reservations for September at WDW. Staying at Poly. Would like to have a professional family portrait done during visit. Any suggestions? Locations and pricing?

    Hello, Hilary,

I absolutely love the photos my family had when we visited Walt Disney World with my parents and my brother's family; it is such a treasure to have such wonderful photos of all of us together at our favorite place.  We worked with Disney Fine Art Photography & Video and had many options available to us. They offer two different sessions.  The first is the Enhanced Portrait Session for $399 (prices subject to change), which is a 1 hour session.  You can have photos taken at any of the theme parks (you are responsible for theme park admission, however) or any Disney resort.  The second is the Mini Portrait Session for $199 (prices subject to change). These photos are taken at the following Disney resorts: Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. If you look through the Gallery in the above link, you can see the photos can be as Disney-inspired as you like or not.

To read more details about the photography sessions, I'd do an internet search for Disney Fine Art Portrait Sessions by Erin Foster. In addition to the information the author shares about her family's experience, you can see a few more examples of other family portraits, including a handful of them taken at the Polynesian Village Resort.

Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
