hi moms, does any one know if all parks have an opening ceremony or is it only magic kingdom?

Thanks for the great question!  Make sure you set your alarm and request a wake-up call from Stitch each morning because there ARE opening ceremonies in each park!

At Walt Disney World, many guests are anxious to be at the Park first thing in the morning for what is traditionally called "Rope Drop".  Many of the guests are there to see the opening ceremony, or "Welcome Show", as they are often called, but many are simply there so they can rush to be the first in line at their favorite attraction!

If you come for the "Welcome Show" at any of the parks, plan to be there about 30 minutes ahead of opening time.  These shows last anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, and may include singing, dancing and some special appearances by some of the characters.

EPCOT actually has a second, separate "Welcome Show" for the opening of "World Showcase", which opens at 11:00 a.m.

So, set that coffee maker on automatic and wake up to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow each day in Walt Disney World!
