Hi Susan!
One of my favorite things about
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is the amazing
recreational activities offered. I really enjoyed the
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure with a few fellow panelists last year, where we rode Segways around the grounds of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! While there is not a traditional petting zoo at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I highly recommend a trip to explore
Tri-Circle D Ranch. This is the home of the beautiful horses and ponies that you will see around Walt Disney World Resort. When you visit, you could see Cinderella's Ponies, who pull Cinderella's magnificent carriage, and a variety of horses who work along Main Street, U.S.A. If you have little ones with you, they will love a
Pony Ride, where you will lead their pony along a trail on the Ranch!
For a more traditional petting zoo experience, I recommend that you make a stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom's
Affection Section. Here you will be able to meet, greet and feed a variety of animals including goats, sheep and cows! Plus, your little ones will love their on the
Wildlife Express Train to visit these beautiful animals!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
