Hello Moms/Dads! I have 4 young children. We are hoping we can take a Disney vacation every other year and are looking for suggestions that can make this affordable. Any idea how much a room at the Art of Anim Resort might cost a family of 6? Thx!

Hi, Paul!  The opening of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is so exciting!   We have a while to go with plans for it to be open at the end of 2012, but I am sure it is going to be a big hit with families!

This resort is going to be a Value Resort, so rates will be reasonable.  With a family of 6, you will probably want a Family Suite.   While no prices have yet been posted, I would guess the Family Suites will start at about $200 in Value Season, with rates higher during peak times.   It is sometimes a bit cheaper to reserve 2 connecting rooms, but with that you do NOT get the kitchenette, so you will need to decide what room type is best for your family.

Keep checking www.disneyworld.com and Disney's BLOG for news and updates on this new resort!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
