Hi Moms/Dads, We're taking our DD for her first visit on Sept 25, staying at BLT. I'd like to send a package down ahead of us with diapers and such, how far in advance should I send it? Should I use USPS? Also, could you share the address with me for ship?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Courtney!  We're so glad you're hEAR!

It sounds like you're doing your daughter's first Disney experience up right. Staying at Bay Lake Towers will be incredible!

Guests are welcome to have packages shipped to their resorts. I ship packages down almost every time I stay at a Disney Resort. Its one less thing for me to have to remember to pack and risk sending my luggage into the excessive weight category when I fly down.

Here is how you should address the package:

    Disney's Bay Lake Tower
    4600 North World Drive
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Please hold for Guest (This should be the name that the room reservation is made under)
Guest Arriving on (arrival date here)

When you check in, mention that you should have a package waiting for you. They usually have it waiting at Check-In for you. If not, they will deliver it to your room shortly.

I would recommend shipping it so that it only arrives 1 to 2 days prior to your arrival (3 at the most). I think it makes it easier for the resorts so that they don't have packages arriving too long in advance.  Your carrier should be able to give you an estimated time of arrival.  I have shipped packages via UPS, USPS & FedEx and have never encountered any problems.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
