Hi moms/dads, My family and I took our very first trip to WDW in Aug.20, 2011 during the value season. Is that the best time to go and if not when is it the best time to go?

Hello Trey!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

There are different times that my family loves to visit Walt Disney World.  Our main priority is to visit during value seasons (or regular), when low crowds are best experienced.

By using Disney room rates guest can get to know which dates are considered value.
Value seasons usually are during school days, when most parents prefer not to visit Walt Disney World.

As a family of four adults my best recommendation is to visit Disney during value seasons, once school have started:
    - After labor day - all September and October
    - First two weeks of December
    - Some weeks of January and February
    - End of April and beginning of May
There are many other great dates to visit Disney, these are only the ones my family enjoy the most (low crowds).

During value seasons Disney features different special events (seasonal) to attract more guests.
When planning your second Walt Disney World vacation, review Disney calendars to see if there are any special events you may want to experience.

For solid predictions on Disney crowd levels guests can use the unofficial "touring plans" internet service.

Happy to help you plan the best date for a magical Disney vacation.
