Hi Moms/Dads! I am attending a conference in Orlando and will have one late afternoon/evening to spend in MK. I haven't been to WDW since 2005 when I was a teen! What are five must do attractions/shows I should try to squeeze in? No roller-coasters please

    Hi Danielle!

I know you must be super excited to visit Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming trip to Orlando! Since you will have limited time at the park, I recommend purchasing your 1-Day Ticket to Magic Kingdom Park now, so that you can take advantage of booking FastPass+ selections in advance. Disney FastPass+ service gives Guests the opportunity to reserve FastPass+ experiences before ever leaving home. Follow this link to learn more about Disney FastPass+ service.

There are so many classic attractions at Magic Kingdom Park that it is very challenging to narrow my list of "cast miss" experiences down to five. If you prefer to avoid thrill rides, I would recommend experiencing Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Mickey's PhilharMagic and Wishes nighttime spectacular.  If you don't mind a few small drops, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is the newest attraction at Magic Kingdom Park and has been very popular with Guests. Although categorized as a thrill ride, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has amazing Audio-Animatronics and is much tamer than traditional roller coasters in my opinion. Check out this sneak peek video that was featured on the Disney Parks Blog.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Danielle!

    Happy Planning,
