Hello Moms.Coming to Disney 9/1/19.we will be doing food&wine festival for 1st time.We will have dining plan.My question is,what are the rules for using various dining plan meals ( snack, quick service, table service)at the food&wine festival?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John! I'm so happy to be able to answer this question for you today because I am a huge fan of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. My family always makes sure to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan when we travel to Walt Disney World Resort for this Festival because we're true foodies who want to try absolutely everything on offer.

In my opinion, the Global Marketplaces are the highlight of the Festival. In 2018, more than 30 of them popped up around Future World and World Showcase to feature food, wine, and beer from around the world. I hope you're ready for some great news, John, because most of the dishes on the menu at the Global Marketplaces are available for a Snack credit. You can redeem a Snack credit for an item if it has the purple and white checkerboard Disney Dining Plan logo next to it on the menu. When we're visiting the Festival, my husband and I like to save up a few Snack credits from other days so we can have pretty much whatever we want when we're strolling around Epcot.

Another way to use your Disney Dining Plan at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is by booking a reservation for a meal at a Table-Service restaurant that offers the Eat to the Beat Dining Package. You can get some extra value out of your Table-Service dining credit by getting breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as well as reserved seating for the Eat to the Beat concert series that same night! Be sure to check back closer to your arrival date to see which dining locations are offering the package.

    Happy Snacking, John!
