Hello Moms!!!! Closing in on our August 2016 trip to WDW!!! Wanted to know what to do with our luggage and things when we check in. Arrive @ 12p. Not going into the parks but wanted to explore, Do we have to carry our luggage around with us? 4adults, 2-7yo

    Hi Davina!

Your trip is right around the corner and I hope that you are starting to get really excited! I love counting down to our Disney trips. I try to get real creative with the kids to get them just as excited as I am. Sometimes we watch videos on YouTube, we always do a countdown, and I love putting them in Disney character pajamas the night before a trip!

Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort magic awaits! If you will be flying into the Orlando International airport Disney’s Magical Express will take care of the work for you. Simply provide them with your airline information and they will ship luggage tags to your house before you leave for your trip. Make sure to put the luggage tags on your luggage before you check them in with your air carrier at your home airport. Once you land simply take your carry on luggage with you and head to the Welcome Center at the airport located on B side on Level 1 of the airport. Here you will tap your MagicBand and a Cast Member will load you onto your Motorcoach. You won’t have to worry about any checked luggage because Disney will take care of that and deliver it right to your Resort hotel room!

If you are not using Disney’s Magical Express or if you have extra belongings with you that you don’t want to carry around all day…take your belongings to Bell Services at your Resort hotel. They will hold them for you until you are ready for them. Make sure to pack a swim suit, flip flops, sunscreen, and sunglasses in your carry on so you can take advantage of the pool once you arrive! Lastly I always encourage guests to take advantage of Online Check-In. This will allow Disney to know when you are coming and you may just find that your room may be available once you arrive!
