    Hi Moms,booked Disney cruise for May 2012. I know that you can download documents on-line when you do online check in, but will we also receive documents in the mail prior to our sail date?

    Hi, Tracey!

    Congratulations on your cruise next year aboard Disney Cruise Line (DCL)! DCL does deliver your cruise documents in the form of a booklet, and they usually arrive 10 – 14 days prior to your sail date.

    As long as your reservation has been paid and you are within the window for your status, you can visit DisneyCruise.com and complete an online check in process and view and register for onboard activities. This helps expedite the process, but I usually save my paper and sign the documents which are delivered in my travel folder.

    Your "status" I referred to depends on if you've sailed (and how many times you've sailed) with Disney. Platinum (and concierge guests), Gold and Silver Castaway Club members are allowed to register in advance (120, 105 and 90 days respectively).
