    Hi Heather,

My family is in the process of deciding our Walt Disney World Thanksgiving dinner reservations too, so I'm happy to share our thoughts. Generally, Thanksgiving dinner specials aren't announced this far in advance. What we've found over the years is that most of the table service restaurants and some of the quick service venues will have special meals for the holiday.

If you are looking for something traditional at Disney Springs, I'd suggest Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. I haven't had his turkey, but his fried chicken is to die for. I would expect the high end steakhouse STK Orlando to have holiday specials, along with the Boathouse and Paddlefish.

I know that Raglan Road, one of my longtime favorite Disney Springs restaurants, always has a Thanksgiving special, as does Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe. We have friends who have their Thanksgiving meal at House of Blues every year and love it.

Beyond Disney Springs -- but outside the parks -- you also will find great holiday meals in the resort hotels. My family is leaning toward a return to Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can get a taste of a traditional American Thanksgiving meal along with its usual African-influenced fare.

Tables for the holiday meal fill up quickly, so you are wise to decide now, before the 180-day reservation mark. Please check back with us if you have more questions as you make your choice. Enjoy!
