Hi moms&dads!I need help trying to determine what hotel to stay at.I'm planning a vaca in 2 yrs for our 10 yr anniv. Our then 8 y/o daughter will be with us also. Can't decide on staying in WDW or Hilton DD. If we stay in WDW what hotel do you recommend?

    Hi Laura!

Oh, how fun! And look at you planning so far in advance! You make the Moms proud! :)

Well, my choice is to ALWAYS stay on Disney property. Not only does it feel more magical, you get some good perks: Extra Magic Hours (the parks open early or stay open late for resort guests), free transportation (most local hotels do not have buses that run as frequently or directly), special offers when you book hotel and park together, the Magical Express transportation from the airport plus more little things like Mickey Mouse wake up calls!

If I had to pick ANY resort? I think I'd go with the Animal Kingdom Lodge because the decor and theming is amazing! AND there are safari animals outside your window! It would be like sleeping at the Animal Kingdom!

Or I might choose a monorail resort like The Contemporary or The Grand Floridian. It is so nice to be able to walk right on the monorail from inside your resort and then hop off at the ticketing center or Magic Kingdom.

But I also really like all the Boardwalk resorts because the all circle Crescent Lake and are connected by a boardwalk filled with fun. Plus you can walk to Epcot!

There are really too many amazing resorts to choose from! Let me know if you have any specific questions about resorts or anything else!
