Hi Moms&Dads, we'll arrive MCO by noon on Sunday 5/4 & stay at BLT. Is it a good idea to take our 3&5 yrs old to DHS for StarTour & TSM on arrival day (assuming we can get FastPass+) ? Or wait till our Epcot day on Monday to hop to DHS? T

Hi Jenny, I am happy to be of some help in planning your stay at Walt Disney World and making sure you try to get EVERYTHING you want to do planned into your magical vacation.

Assuming you can make FastPass+ selections for the day of your arrival at Disney Hollywood Studios on your two must-ride rides and your children are up for the challenge then I say go for it.

I do recommend being realistic in your travel time from the airport to Disney's Magical Express, to Disney's Bay Lake Tower (my most favorite place to stay), checking-in, and then traveling to Disney's Hollywood Studios by bus.  Worst case scenario let's say you arrive to Disney's Hollywood Studios between 3:00 - 3:30pm,  I would recommend making my FastPass+ selections prior to your arrival for late afternoon or early evening.

In my opinion, Epcot is a park with lots to do and hopping over to Disney Hollywood Studios for two rides is not what I would do unless my children were older and could go all day and into the night.  Again, this is my opinion and what would work best for my family and may be different for yours.

I hope this has been helpful and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to let me know.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
