Hello moms.Although I'm hoping 4 great weather, it may not be the case.Since you've been there countless times. For e.g., if I'm at MK and it rains, is the day lost? Does an entire park shut down? Is there anything to do? Thanks for you response :)

    Hi Sonia,

Walt Disney and his imagineers were pretty smart cookies!  They designed their theme parks while keeping Florida weather in mind.  It is not at all unusual for brief, daily cloud bursts to take place in Orlando, especially during the summer months.  Therefore, you'll find plenty to do even when it rains.  There are so many attractions that are completely under a roof.  For instance, in the Magic Kingdom, Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Space Mountain, Country Bear Jamboree, and Mickey's Philharmagic can be enjoyed regardless of the weather.  These are just a few examples.  My family and I also like to shop when it rains.  It's a great time to explore the shops on Main Street U.S.A. or in Liberty Square.  I've actually come to appreciate rainy days in the Magic Kingdom because it deters some guests from entering the parks.  That means shorter lines to attractions!  Even if a few rides do temporarily close due to rain, they will reopen quickly after the rain subsides.  The complete closure of a Disney theme park almost never happens so you needn't worry!

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip, rain or shine!
